AMCP Booth Volunteers

Booth volunteers help staff the AMCP Concierge booth at AMCP 2020. Attendees visit the booth to ask questions about the meeting, membership, and/or AMCP programs and activities. To assist booth volunteers, AMCP staff provides host materials including Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) before the conference and onsite in the booth. Volunteer shifts are one hour each. Conference Buddy Program

This popular mentoring program is designed to increase visibility and awareness of managed care pharmacy. It matches student pharmacists or new practitioners with a managed care professional. This pairing meets informally during AMCP 2020 to discuss the managed care pharmacy industry, pathways to managed care pharmacy careers, and AMCP resources available to help student pharmacists and new practitioners. To participate, individuals must register as part of the AMCP 2020 registration process.

To participate in the Buddy program, sign up by March 23, 2020. AMCP will start the matching process April 3. Those who sign up should expect to hear back shortly thereafter. Matches are made in order of registration date and we will do our best to accommodate those who meet the above sign up deadline.

Education Session Moderators

Moderating a session at AMCP 2020 is a privilege and a responsibility. Moderators are crucial to the success of the meeting.  We assign a volunteer moderator to each education session. Moderators make housekeeping announcements at the beginning and end of the session, introduce faculty, keep the session on track with scheduled start and end times, facilitate the Q&A period, and ensure that no product endorsements occur during the session. Moderators are provided with a script to follow. You must be an AMCP member and be registered for AMCP 2020.  Click Here to apply!
